Facts about animal testing towards replacement
May 2022 – Karina Cuanalo-Contreras
Do you catch yourself wondering how to move your in vitro NAM from the lab to industrial production?
Infograph for world animal day: From scientists to regulatory bodies to conscious consumers. We have come a long way and we still have a long way to go, but the combined advocacy, work and efforts will lead to a world free of animal testing.
Our poster at ASCCT 2021
October 2021 – Karina Cuanalo-Contreras, PhD, et al.
For many years in vivo testing has been the gold standard for toxicology. Currently, the field is transitioning towards the use of new approach methodologies (NAMs). Read our poster to find out how the manufacturer industry is supporting this transition!
Our poster at BioBarriers 2021
September 2021 – Karina Cuanalo-Contreras, PhD, et al.
We participated at BioBarriers 2021. A conference focused on the non-invasive drug delivery at interfaces of the outer epithelia.
We contributed with our poster "ALI in vitro cultures for airway epithelium research". The respiratory tract epithelium represents an attractive route for drug-delivery. It is accessible through the mouth or nose and it contains 100 m2 of highly vascularized surface. Click here to learn more
Our poster at MPS word summit 2021
June 2021 – Karina Cuanalo-Contreras, PhD, et al.
Curious on the science behind the microporous membranes integrated in our cellQART® Inserts? Check out this poster!
Over the last decades, the incorporation of microporous membranes into microfluidics, organ-on-a-chip and cell culture inserts has grown significantly. Tissue-culture treated membranes serve as excellent support for cell growth, efficient nutrient supply and differentiation. In this poster, we shed light on the technology and science behind our TRAKETCH® Microporous Membranes, integrated in our home brand of cellQART® Cell Culture inserts.
