A pH-stable, mucin based nanoparticle system for the co-delivery of hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs

In this paper, Nintou et al. investigated the in vitro crosstalk between the exercising muscle and the adipose tissue, mediated by myokines and metabolites. Our cellQART 0.4 micron pore size clear inserts were used to co-culture muscle myotubes with 3T3-L1 cells. The co-culture was used to perform electrical pulse stimulation mimicking muscle contraction.
