New Paper: Mpox virus infects and injures human kidney organoids, but responding to antiviral treatment
In this paper, Li et al. generated human kidney organoids that support the full life cycle of monkeypox virus infection, provoke active virus-host interactions, recapitulate tissue injury and respond to Tecovirimat treatment.Our cellQART 0.4 micron pore size inserts were used to culture the pre-formed self-aggregated kidney organoids and to perform the in vitro infection and antiviral treatment.
